We'll practice making strong choices that deepen and escalate your scene partners' offers. Notice the patterns, hold the truth, and discover different ways of supporting the scene as the third player. This workshop is all about becoming the third wheel a scene actually needs.

Conflict isn’t always bad in improv—saying “no” all the time is. This workshop explores how to fully commit to your scene partner even in moments of disagreement through Hard Yes, And-ing—and when we say hard, we mean go for it. Time to hit the improv gym. Anytime Fitprov is a drills-and-reps jam where we target one improv muscle group: scene work. Expect warmups, focused drills, reps in scenes, and side coaching throughout — so you're not just playing, you're actually getting better. Open to all levels, all experience welcome. Come ready to sweat (figuratively).

Curious about improv but never tried it? Improv 101 is a full-day taster where you'll learn the fun in "Yes, And" and get comfortable thinking on your feet. We'll spend the day on games and exercises, with a one-hour break in the middle. Built for absolute beginners — no experience needed at all — and just as good if you've played before and want to come back to the fundamentals. It's a small group, so everyone gets real playtime.

Time to hit the Bakal Gym — for your improv muscles! We're focusing on four short form games this jam, but instead of one quick run each, we're treating it like a proper training day: warmups to get loose, drills and exercises specific to each game, then multiple reps so everyone gets real stage time. We'll cap it off with side coaching and feedback along the way. Bring your gym clothes (optional), bring your sense of play (mandatory)!

We’re bringing in new short form games and exercises to try out and play: ranging from small twists and tweaks to the games you know and love, to completely new and wacky ideas to test your improv skills. Let’s have fun!
