Sessionistas Improv

We are opening the stage to voices, bodies, words, and sounds beyond improv theater, and we would love for you to be part of it. This show celebrates different art forms such as spoken word, poetry reading, song rendition, dance, stand up comedy, and other artistic expressions. It is an open mic show, and for this installment, we are featuring six artists who will perform an original song, a cover, a poetry reading, a drag show, and an improv performance.

Mekus, Mekus is an experimental improv show where play, curiosity, and chaos meet. Built on collaboration, the performers and the audience shape the night together, creating scenes that shift, break, and surprise in real time. Expect an interactive experience where nothing is fixed, everything is discovered, and every moment is made on the spot.

Sessionista Spotlight is a show where individual improvisers and improv groups can collaborate and perform with other groups to make a really unique show! This year's first Sessionista Spotlight will be featuring two improv groups and two individual improvisers!

Come and join our Sessionistas Improv as we close the year with gratitude for what music and improv that has given us! Celebrate with us with short musical games and long form improvised musical plays that we will create with you, our audience, on the spot!

Enjoy a night of an improvised musical play based on the concept of a radio show where callers call to ask for a love advice from a love guru. Let us see how it plays out when you, the viewer, suggest the issue the caller has called for. Also as a bonus, since this is inspired by a radio show, there will be singers that will sing songs you might know and hear all the time from the radio.
